About El Eden & Vivian Martinez
El Edén Farms is a progressive coffee project located in the heart of Quindío, Colombia, one of the country’s most celebrated coffee-growing regions. Operated under Edén Farms Colombia S.A.S, the project brings together three distinct estates: El Caimo, La Tebaida, and Barcelona, each contributing unique varietals and growing conditions that showcase the diversity of Quindío’s terroir.
Together, the farms cultivate a carefully selected mix of traditional and expressive coffee varieties, including Caturra, Castillo, Bourbon Rosado, and Bourbon Sidra. This intentional varietal diversity allows Edén Farms to balance consistency, innovation, and cup quality across its lots.
The El Caimo estate is home to approximately 50,000 Caturra trees alongside 7,000 Bourbon Rosado trees, producing coffees that range from classic and balanced to highly aromatic and complex. In Barcelona, the largest of the three farms, over 250,000 Castillo trees are cultivated, emphasizing resilience, productivity, and clean cup profiles well-suited to both traditional and experimental processing. The smallest and most specialized estate, La Tebaida, focuses on Bourbon Sidra, with around 5,000 trees dedicated to this rare and highly sought-after variety known for its vibrant acidity and expressive fruit character.
By combining multiple farms under one unified project, El Edén Farms is able to maintain close oversight of cultivation practices while experimenting with variety-specific approaches to farming and processing. The result is a portfolio of coffees that reflects both Quindío’s classic coffee heritage and its forward-thinking approach to quality and innovation.
