At Somewhere Coffee Co., we have a deep passion for coffee and a desire to share the incredible diversity of flavours it offers. As a micro-roastery based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, founded by Jeremy and Amanda, we source unique, small-lot coffees from around the world, focusing on showing you, the consumer, transparency and showcasing the dedicated farmers and regions that make each cup special.
Our Story: Somewhere Coffee Co. was born from a simple idea: to explore and share the vast world of coffee. We believe that every coffee has a story behind it, from the farm where it was grown to the cup in your hand. We partner with trusted importers who share our commitment to transparency, allowing us to source exceptional coffees and connect you directly with the various origins out there. We hope to bring you something exceptional that appeals to you the most.
Our Approach: We're committed to revealing the true flavours of each coffee we roast. This means embracing a lighter roast profile that highlights the inherent characteristics of the bean. This usually results in a brighter, more nuanced cup than you might be used to. We will always strive to document the journey of each coffee, sharing photos of the green beans, roasting process, and the final product. We also strive to provide detailed information about the farms and regions of origin, including photos when available and even precise map locations, giving credit where it's due to the hardworking producers. To ensure the perfect roast, we begin with small sample roasts on our Kaffelogic sample roaster to dial in our profile before scaling up to larger batches on our Aillio Bullet roaster.
