Nariño Reserve is a reflection of both place and collective craftsmanship. Grown between 2000 and 2200 masl in the rugged landscapes of southwestern Colombia, this coffee benefits from slow cherry maturation, where cooler temperatures allow sugars to develop steadily and with depth.

Produced by smallholder farmers, many from indigenous communities, this lot represents a shared approach to quality. Careful harvesting, traditional washed processing, and collaborative knowledge all contribute to a cup that feels consistent and intentional. The washed method preserves clarity, while the profile leans toward a deeper, more grounded expression of Castillo.

In the cup, the profile opens with a familiar cocoa richness, moving into praline-like sweetness that adds warmth and roundness. A subtle fig note lingers beneath, bringing a gentle fruit depth that softens the structure without lifting it too brightly. The acidity is restrained, acting more as support than contrast, allowing the sweetness and body to carry through.
